Hue is Vietnam’s ancient capital city before 1945. This beautiful and historic city is about 2 and a half hours far from Da Nang. It’s famous for the complex of Hue Monuments which was recognized as a world cultural heritage site by UNESCO in 1993.

At 7.30 am, we pick you up at the hotel lobby. Our private day tour takes about 10 to12 hours. To visit

• Hai Van mountain pass made famous by the BBC’s ‘Top Gear’ program who described it as a deserted ribbon of perfection, one of the best coast roads in the world. Driving to the top and weather permitting we see reminders of my country’s recent past, Red Beach 2 in the distance where in 1965 the US Marine Corps made its famous landing and at the summit, a bullet-scarred

French Fort. We make frequent comfort stops to freshen up.

• Lang Co bay you can see a beautiful mix of water, mountain, white sand and blue sky. After enjoying the beauty of Lang Co Bay, we keep going to Hue center.

• Tram oil factory. A local specialty that’s good for your health and massage.

• The imperial citadel, the forbidden purple citadel, Palaces, and Shrines. from the 19th century which surrounds the huge original Imperial City, the forbidden purple city, palaces, and shrines.

This is a must-see location in Hue.

• Lunch: authentic local food.

• Thien Mu pagoda. A beautiful and holy pagoda from 1601 by the traditional cyclo( xe xích lô).

• Boat trip on the perfume river to enjoy the fresh air and great view from both river banks.

• The huge and beautiful tomb of the king – the second palace where the king rest in peace forever.
